IEEE Milestone - Star of Laufenburg

IEEE Switzerland and IEEE commemorated the 50th anniversary of the Star of Laufenburg milestone.

The celebration was hosted by SwissGrid which runs the star power grid interconnect in Laufenburg.

The original star connected Germany, France and Switzerland.

SwissGrid run the southern Europe power grid interconnect today.
